Padang, West Sumatra, June 29 -- Indonesia's National Development Planning Ministry stated that the nation's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) completion level in 2025 stood higher than the regional and global averages.

"Our SDGs completion rate is higher than the global average of 18 percent, while the Asia-Pacific average also stands at 18 percent," Pungkas Bahjuri Ali, head of the National SDGs Secretariat at the ministry, stated here on Monday.

Ali explained that, according to the latest evaluation, 62.7 percent of SDG indicators have met their targets, while 13.1 percent require acceleration. Meanwhile, 24.2 percent are classified as "red," meaning they still face significant challenges in achieving their targets.
