Jakarta, March 22 -- Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), Indonesia's largest Islamic organization, has delivered humanitarian aid to Palestinians during Ramadan, distributing food, water and essential supplies to communities affected by the conflict in Gaza and the West Bank.

According to a statement issued in Jakarta on Sunday, NU-through its charitable arm NU Care-LAZISNU-worked with international partners to deliver 4,503 iftar meal packages to displaced residents, including those sheltering in camps in Deir al-Balah, Gaza.

Riri Khariroh, executive director of NU Care-LAZISNU, said the organization also supplied 152,000 liters of clean water to help address shortages caused by damage to critical civilian infrastructure.
