Pangkalpinang, Aug. 6 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Population and Family Development said its Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program for pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and children under five-known as the 3B group-has reached 9.6 million beneficiaries.

Minister of Population and Family Development Wihaji announced the figure while inspecting a Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) implementing the MBG 3B program in Pangkalbalam, Pangkalpinang City, Bangka Belitung Islands, on Thursday.

"As of today, the MBG 3B program has reached 9.6 million beneficiaries," he said.
