Jakarta, Oct. 22 -- Indonesia's proposal for an international legal instrument on global royalty governance has been officially included in the agenda of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Law Minister Supratman Andi Agtas announced.

The document, coded SCCR/47/6, is scheduled for discussion at the 47th session of the Standing Committee on Copyright and Related Rights (SCCR), which will take place in Geneva, Switzerland, from December 1 to 5, 2025.

Speaking on Wednesday, Agtas expressed both gratitude and optimism over the proposal's inclusion in the global forum.
