Jakarta, Sept. 14 -- Indonesia's furniture industry booked potential transactions worth USD3.07 million at the Korea International Furniture and Interior Fair (KOFURN) 2025, the Ministry of Trade said Sunday, signaling strong interest from South Korean buyers.
Director General of National Export Development Fajarini Puntodewi said Korean consumers are drawn to Indonesian furniture for its multifunctional, compact designs suited to South Korea's typically small living spaces.
"Buyers prefer furniture that's easy to move and not too large - practical yet aesthetic pieces that align with the market's needs," she said.
