Jakarta, Oct. 24 -- Indonesia's Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Yuliot Tanjung said energy transformation in the country is on the right track toward realizing national energy sovereignty.

"Indonesia's energy transformation is on the right track toward national energy sovereignty, domestic added value, job creation, and public welfare," Tanjung said at the 2026 Subroto Energy Award Night held here on Friday night (Oct 23).

He outlined several achievements in recent years. In oil and gas, he said, Indonesia last year managed to exceed the oil lifting target set in the 2025 State Budget (APBN).
