Jakarta, Aug. 15 -- President Prabowo Subianto stated that Indonesia's economy managed to grow above 5 percent amid ongoing trade wars and global political-economic conflicts.

"In the midst of global political and economic conflicts, trade and tariff wars, Indonesia's economy still managed to grow 5.12 percent, and experts believe this will continue to increase ahead," he said at the parliamentary complex here on Friday.

Indonesia's investment realization in the first semester of 2025 had reached Rp942 trillion or around US$$57.77 billion, an increase of 13.6 percent from the previous year, he noted.

The investment has also absorbed 1.2 million Indonesian workers, he added.
