Jakarta, Aug. 22 -- Indonesia's National Narcotics Agency (BNN) seized around 10 kilograms of marijuana, methamphetamine, and ecstasy from various drug trafficking networks between June and July 2025.

Head of the BNN Jakarta Office, Brig. Gen. Awang Joko Rumitro, said on Friday that the busts followed intensive investigations into suspicious activity by several perpetrators.

After surveillance, officers arrested multiple suspects acting as couriers and dealers.

The first case came to light on June 17 when officers arrested a man in East Jakarta and found 3.57 kilograms of marijuana allegedly meant for distribution in the capital and surrounding areas.
