Jakarta, June 23 -- Indonesia's National Alms Agency (Baznas) distributed sacrificial meat to around 6,700 Palestinian refugees in camps across Syria's Idlib Province under its 2026 Eid al-Adha program.

Baznas Head Sodik Mudjahid said the Palestine Qurbani Program reflects the solidarity and concern of Indonesians for Palestinians who continue to face hardships due to prolonged conflict and humanitarian challenges.

"We want to ensure that the trust placed in us by the Indonesian people reaches our brothers and sisters in need. Qurbani is a symbol of care, brotherhood, and moral support for refugees living under difficult circumstances," he said in a statement issued on Tuesday.
