Indonesia's AI policies align with global trends, observer says
Jakarta, Sept. 16 -- Telecommunications observer Heru Sutadi said Indonesia's artificial intelligence policy direction is broadly aligned with global trends, citing risk-based governance, ethical principles and responsible AI use.
"In my view, the direction is well aligned, particularly as Indonesia has begun establishing risk-based governance, ethics, transparency, accountability and human oversight," he told ANTARA on Wednesday.
Heru, executive director of the Information and Communication Technology Institute, said Indonesia's National AI Roadmap and AI ethics guidelines reflect growing global emphasis on responsible AI use.
