Jakarta, Feb. 21 -- The Indonesian Higher Education, Science, and Technology Ministry met a delegation from Bauman Moscow State Technical University (BMSTU), Russia, to strengthen higher education and research cooperation in Jakarta on Thursday (Feb 19).

In an official statement in Jakarta on Saturday, Indonesian Minister Brian Yuliarto expressed his appreciation for the Russian government's contribution in providing scholarships, which are planned to be integrated into the Garuda Scholarship program.

He stated that Indonesia can develop various joint programs, such as joint research with Indonesian universities addressing eight national priorities, as well as student and professor exchanges.
