Jakarta, Dec. 15 -- The government is offering discounts on land, sea, and air transportation tickets during the 2025 Christmas and 2026 New Year holidays to help ease congestion on toll roads.

"The government has provided stimulus measures to alleviate congestion," the Deputy Chief of the Indonesian National Police, Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo, said on Monday.

He detailed that the discounts offered include a basic fare discount on sea and ferry transportation, a 30 percent discount on train tickets, and a 13-14 percent discount on airline tickets.
