Jakarta, Dec. 15 -- Indonesian Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar officially reactivated the flight route between Kualanamu International Airport in Deli Serdang, North Sumatra, and Rembele Airport in Bener Meriah, Aceh, to support disaster response efforts.
"As our nation is mourning in the wake of the recent major disasters, reliable air transport and smooth air traffic have become vital to support the distribution of logistics," he noted in a statement cited in Jakarta.
