Jakarta, Oct. 29 -- The Indonesian government and Commission VIII of the House of Representatives have agreed to set the Hajj Travel Cost (Bipih) for the 2026 pilgrimage season at Rp54,193,807 per pilgrim.
The cost is equivalent to approximately US$3,260 based on current exchange rate.
"This reduction reflects the commitment of the government and parliament to easing the financial burden on pilgrims without compromising the quality of Hajj services," said Commission VIII Chair Marwan Dasopang during the announcement on Wednesday.
