Jakarta, Sept. 23 -- Indonesia recorded Rp140.7 trillion (approximately US$7.9 billion) in foreign capital inflows as of September 14, 2026, marking a positive rebound after experiencing capital flight in previous months, according to Finance Minister Suahasil Nazara.

"While we were seeing capital outflows a few months ago, recently we have seen inflows begin," Minister Suahasil stated during the ANTARA Business Forum in Jakarta on Wednesday.

He explained that the foreign capital accumulated through investments in government securities (SBN) and Bank Indonesia rupiah securities (SRBI).

"As of September 14, the accumulated capital inflow stood at Rp140.7 trillion via SBN and SRBI," he said.
