Jakarta, Aug. 26 -- The Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has reaffirmed the country's commitment to serving as a neutral and reliable development partner for Africa.
"Indonesia does not merely provide development assistance to Africa, but also offers partnership, solidarity, and solutions tailored to the specific needs of each country," said Director of International Development Cooperation at the Foreign Ministry, Rina Setyawati, in a press statement issued by the Indonesian Embassy in Tokyo on Monday.
She delivered the remarks during a thematic discussion titled "Cooperation with Africa from Different Regions," organized by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Yokohama, Japan, on August 22, 2025.
