Jakarta, Sept. 25 -- Indonesia reaffirmed its commitment to advancing ocean-based climate solutions through marine conservation, blue carbon initiatives, and coastal resilience during the high-level week of the UN General Assembly in New York.

The Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs highlighted the country's expanded policy framework under Presidential Regulation No. 110/2025, which integrates the marine and fisheries sector directly into national climate change mitigation strategies, according to a statement released Friday.
