Indonesia readies strategic steps to bridge gap in AI capability
Jakarta, July 16 -- The Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs is mapping out strategic measures to bridge the Artificial Intelligence (AI) capability gap amid high public adoption of the technology.
These steps are designed to ensure that AI utilization goes beyond basic applications to drive meaningful transformation across the education, healthcare, financial services, and government sectors.
"Adoption alone may not be enough, simply using AI is not sufficient. What truly matters is our capability in utilizing it," Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs Nezar Patria said during a discussion forum in Jakarta on Wednesday (July 15).
