Nusantara, April 2 -- The Indonesian government has renewed its commitment to focusing construction works in future capital Nusantara (IKN), under development in East Kalimantan, on buildings for legislative and judicial institutions in 2026.

"Developing the legislative and judicial complexes is one of our priorities this year," Head of the IKN Authority (OIKN) Basuki Hadimuljono remarked in Nusantara on Thursday.

He added that construction projects for the two complexes proceed in tandem with efforts to foster a suitable living environment that supports social and economic activities in the new capital throughout 2026.
