Jakarta, July 11 -- The Indonesian government is supporting the production of natural-based medicines, including herbal remedies, standardized herbal medicines, and phytopharmaceuticals.
This was conveyed by Andi Rizaldi, Head of the Standardization and Industrial Services Policy Agency (BSKJI), during the signing of a cooperation agreement on Friday between the Ministry of Trade and PT Aurora Alam Khatulistiwa, a company involved in raw materials and traditional medicinal products.
He said the agreement reflects the government's commitment to advancing the downstream development of natural resource-based industries, including efforts to protect biodiversity as a source of natural medicine.
