Jakarta, Aug. 17 -- The Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening Indonesia's digital sovereignty by ensuring the effective implementation of three priority state agendas.

This move is aligned with the 81st Indonesian Independence Day theme: "A Sovereign, Just, and Prosperous Indonesia."

Speaking in Jakarta on Monday, the ministry's Secretary-General Ismail emphasized that the commitment is crucial because, in the digital era, national sovereignty is increasingly defined by a country's ability to control and secure its digital space, extending well beyond traditional physical borders.
