Jakarta, April 11 -- Indonesia will continue to promote human rights while strengthening cooperation with the European Union through constructive dialogue and mutual respect, the Foreign Ministry said.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Vahd Nabyl A. Mulachela said Indonesia remains committed to encouraging open and respectful dialogue with the European Union to enhance mutual understanding.
"Indonesia continues to encourage open and respectful dialogue with the European Union to enhance understanding between the parties," he told ANTARA in Jakarta on Saturday.
He said such efforts are carried out, among others, through the Indonesia-EU Human Rights Dialogue, with the latest session held in Indonesia last February.
