Jakarta, April 30 -- Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs Nezar Patria has underscored Indonesia's openness to global digital investment while maintaining strict boundaries regarding personal data protection.
"Indonesia is safe for business innovation, providing the public with the assurance that their personal data is protected and their privacy respected," he stated in a press release confirmed on Thursday.
He made these remarks during a meeting with the American Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia and representatives from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce at the office of the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs in Jakarta on Wednesday.
