Jakarta, Oct. 30 -- Indonesia's government is pushing ahead with the development of its new capital, Nusantara, aiming to make it the country's Political Capital by 2028, according to Nusantara Capital Authority Head Basuki Hadimuljono.
"There is no hesitation in developing the IKN. Every step is directed toward achieving the target of making Nusantara the Political Capital by 2028, as instructed by the President," Hadimuljono said in a statement Thursday.
He said the authority continues to work with optimism and transparency, ensuring each project delivers tangible benefits for local communities.
