Jakarta, Nov. 11 -- People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) Deputy Speaker Edhie Baskoro Yudhoyono affirmed that Indonesia stands ready to make even greater contributions to global peace efforts during the 9th World Peace Forum in Jakarta on Monday (November 10).
In a statement quoted on Tuesday, he expressed confidence in Indonesia's capability and experience, citing the nation's success in preserving harmony among diverse, heterogeneous communities spread across thousands of islands.
