Jakarta, July 11 -- The Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi) Ministry has launched an AI Center of Excellence to support the development of digital talents and expand the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the country.

"The AI Center of Excellence is expected to help ensure that AI technology delivers greater benefits to the Indonesian public," Komdigi Deputy Minister Nezar Patria said during the opening of the center in South Jakarta on Friday.

He noted that the center was developed through collaboration between the government, universities, industry, and communities, with technology companies such as Nvidia, Cisco, and Indosat also contributing to the project.
