Sidoarjo, Jawa Timur, Sept. 30 -- Minister of Religious Affairs Nasaruddin Umar has assured that his office will give special attention to the construction aspects of all Islamic boarding schools (pondok pesantren or ponpes), madrasahs, and other educational institutions across Indonesia.

This commitment is part of the Ministry's efforts to ensure the safety of students following the collapse of a prayer room building at the Al Khoziny Islamic Boarding School in Sidoarjo, East Java.
