Indonesia, Aug. 16 -- The Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) will market Bangka Belitung Islands' "Muntok White Pepper" to 1,200 restaurants in 63 countries to expand exports of the region's flagship commodity.

"We are already working with 1,200 restaurants in 63 countries, and they currently lack spices and herbs," MSMEs Ministry Deputy for Medium Enterprises Bagus Rachman said here on Sunday.

He said the province's white pepper, known globally as Muntok White Pepper and holding an official Geographical Indication certificate, offers strong export potential for international dining establishments.
