Jakarta, June 30 -- The largest integrated electric vehicle battery industry ecosystem project in Southeast Asia, located in Karawang District, West Java Province, is projected to absorb 8,000 direct workers, Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya stated.

The groundbreaking ceremony for the integrated electric vehicle battery ecosystem, led by the ANTAM-IBC-CBL consortium, was inaugurated by Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto at Artha Industrial Hills in Karawang, West Java on Sunday.
