Jakarta, Oct. 8 -- Indonesia's House of Representatives (DPR) and the government officially launched Presidential Regulation Number 27/2026 on the Protection of Digital Platform-Based Transportation Ecosystems, regulating online motorcycle taxi and delivery services.

The House Deputy Speaker Sufmi Dasco Ahmad said the drafting of the regulation involved the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), the Ministry of Transportation, the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs, and the Ministry of State Secretariat.
