Jakarta, Oct. 31 -- The Ministry of Population and Family Development has introduced the Indonesian Family Academy to enhance family well-being through character education for young people.

"For our ministry, families are the smallest and most foundational unit within a country. Hence, improving the country will require efforts to improve families," Population and Family Development Minister Wihaji said in a statement received here on Saturday.

Recognizing the importance of strengthening families to nurture future generations, he said the ministry launched the Indonesian Family Academy as a learning platform for unmarried Indonesians aged 10 to 24.
