Denpasar, March 26 -- Indonesia's Directorate General of Immigration assured the public that surveillance of foreign nationals in Bali proceeds as usual amid the implementation of a work-from-anywhere (WFA) policy for local personnel from March 25 to 27.

"The WFA system does not hinder us from ensuring quick responses to public needs," said Felucia Sengky Ratna, head of the directorate general's Bali office, in Denpasar City on Thursday.

She pointed out that the government had undertaken thorough risk-mitigation assessments before rolling out the WFA scheme to ensure it does not undermine public interests and national security.
