Jakarta, July 28 -- The Indonesian government has decided to keep the prices of subsidized fuel and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) unchanged, despite continued volatility in global crude oil markets driven by geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.

Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Minister Bahlil Lahadalia announced the decision after a limited cabinet meeting chaired by President Prabowo Subianto at the Presidential Palace Complex in Jakarta on Tuesday.

"We can confirm that there will be no increase in subsidized fuel prices, as decided today. There will be no increase in subsidized fuel, including subsidized LPG," Bahlil stated.
