Jakarta, Oct. 27 -- Indonesian Law Minister Supratman Andi Agtas has sought China's support for an initiative titled "The Indonesian Proposal for a Legally Binding Instrument on the Governance of Copyright in the Digital Environment."
He presented the proposal during the 16th Meeting of the China-ASEAN Heads of Intellectual Property Offices held in Shaanxi, China, according to a written statement cited in Jakarta on Monday.
Agtas emphasized that under President Prabowo Subianto's leadership, the Indonesian government is positioning the strengthening of intellectual property (IP) as one of the key pillars of national growth through creative economy development and innovation.
