Jakarta, April 17 -- Indonesia's deputy health minister said advances in artificial intelligence are reshaping the laboratory sector and accelerating a shift toward predictive and preventive healthcare, while stressing that human oversight remains essential.
"AI is not a threat, but an accelerator. It is shifting healthcare from a curative approach to predictive and preventive care. However, human judgment and professionalism cannot be replaced by technology," Deputy Health Minister Dante Saksono Harbuwono said Friday.
