Jakarta, April 19 -- Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs Meutya Hafid said that the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) technology has the potential to increase Indonesia's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) contribution by up to 3.67 percent.
"Competitiveness today is no longer determined by resources, but by the ability to adapt to technology, especially AI," she said at "The Power of AI" forum, as quoted from a ministry press release on Sunday.
She stated that Indonesia can maximize the use of AI to support digital economic growth.
"Value has now shifted, it is no longer about resources, but about our ability to transform data into solutions," she explained.
