Jakarta, Aug. 26 -- Indonesia is extending its humanitarian aid deliveries to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, who continue to face a deepening crisis due to the Israeli war.

Brigadier General Frega Wennas Inkiriwang, spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, said on Tuesday that the move aligns with the government's directive to reach more Palestinians affected by famine in Gaza.

"Aid deliveries are ongoing. Today, the Indonesian Air Force (TNI AU) deployed a C-130 A-1343 Hercules aircraft carrying 26 members of the Garuda Merah Putih II Task Force from Jakarta," Inkiriwang said in a statement.

He noted that preparations had been completed, including 1,200 parachutes, crew documents, and other technical support equipment.
