Jakarta, Sept. 2 -- Indonesia has officially extended its condolences to the government and the people of Norway over the passing of King Harald V on August 28.

The condolences were conveyed by Foreign Minister Sugiono by signing the condolence book at the Norwegian Embassy in Jakarta on Tuesday (September 1).

"On behalf of the government and the people of the Republic of Indonesia, as well as on my behalf, I extend my deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to the Kingdom of Norway and its people on the passing of His Majesty King Harald V," Sugiono stated in his condolence remarks, as published on his official social media, Wednesday.
