Indonesia explores expanding migrant worker placements in Slovakia
Jakarta, Aug. 6 -- Indonesia is actively exploring options to expand the placement of skilled migrant workers to the Slovak Republic, focusing on key sectors including manufacturing, hospitality, and elderly care.
The initiative was highlighted following a bilateral meeting between Indonesian Protection of Migrant Workers (P2MI) Deputy Minister Christina Aryani and Slovak Ambassador to Indonesia Tomas Ferko.
According to an official ministry statement released in Jakarta on Wednesday, the meeting marks an initial step to institutionalize employment cooperation as Slovakia faces growing demand for qualified foreign labor.
