Jakarta, Oct. 13 -- Law Minister Supratman Andi Atgas stated that the paralegal training program in North Maluku aims to accelerate access to justice for Indonesians, particularly at the regional level.

Speaking in Ternate, North Maluku, on Monday, the minister said that paralegals stationed at legal aid posts across Indonesia serve as the frontliners in ensuring public access to justice.

Atgas emphasized that the initiative aligns with President Prabowo Subianto's commitment to expanding access to the justice system, as outlined in one of the Astacita priorities - guaranteeing that every citizen has the right to justice, fair trial, and legal assistance.
