Jakarta, Aug. 2 -- The Primary and Secondary Education Ministry said it is strengthening collaboration to expand access to quality reading materials while improving students' literacy.

Primary and Secondary Education Minister Abdul Mu'ti said in a written statement issued here on Sunday that the ministry continues to intensify efforts to provide quality education for all children with support from the central government, regional governments, the business sector, and the public.

According to him, providing quality reading materials is not solely the government's responsibility. Regional governments and the private sector also have opportunities to help enrich students' reading resources.
