Jakarta, April 21 -- Chair of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), Anindya Bakrie, highlighted the Indonesian business community's support for Indonesia's accession to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

He noted that the move is a strategic step to propel Indonesia toward its goal of becoming a developed nation by 2045 through improved governance and policy standards.

"The government's decision to pursue OECD accession is the right strategic choice to support Indonesia's goal of becoming a developed nation by 2045," he said during a national seminar on Indonesia's OECD accession in Jakarta on Tuesday.
