Jakarta, Aug. 10 -- Indonesia's Manpower Ministry is intensifying data-driven measures to align educational outputs with industry needs, aiming to bridge gaps between the talent pool and job market demand.

Head of the ministry's Planning and Development Agency Anwar Sanusi said the strategy includes strengthening the Labor Market Information System (LMIS).

"The strengthening of the LMIS is being prioritized in a bid to enable both educational and industrial stakeholders to access labor requirement data in real time," he remarked when contacted from Jakarta on Monday.
