Jakarta, Oct. 7 -- Indonesia's National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) has officially ended the search for victims of the collapsed Al Khoziny Islamic Boarding School in Sidoarjo, East Java, after completing its final recovery efforts.

In a press conference on Tuesday, Basarnas Operations Director Commodore Yudhi Bramantyo said that 171 victims were found during nine days of search and rescue operations since the collapse on September 29.

Of the total, 104 people were rescued alive, while 67 were confirmed dead. Eight body parts were also recovered from the debris of the collapsed structure, he noted.

"We conducted the final search today at the cleared site. We expect no other victims left behind," Bramantyo stated.
