Selatpanjang, Riau,, Oct. 19 -- Indonesia's Kepulauan Meranti Immigration Office in Riau Province has deported a Chinese national, identified as MH, for misusing a limited stay permit (ITAS) under category E28A.

Head of the immigration office, Dendi Surya Agung Nugraha, said the deportation followed findings that MH had conducted no investment activities and used supporting documents that did not belong to him.

"We carried out this process in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. We have also proposed placing him on the immigration blacklist," he said in Selatpanjang, Riau, on Sunday.

MH was found to have violated Article 122(a) of Law Number 6 of 2011 on Immigration. He was deported through Terminal 3's international depart...
