Jakarta, Oct. 26 -- Indonesia strongly condemned the deadly attack on a Greek Orthodox church in Jordan's Karak governorate on October 23, expressing solidarity with King Abdullah II and the Jordanian people.

"Indonesia strongly condemns the brutal armed attack at St. George's Greek Orthodox Church in Karak, Jordan, on October 23, 2026, which caused multiple deaths and injuries," Indonesia's Foreign Ministry said in a social media post on Monday.

The Indonesian government and people extended their deepest condolences to the victims' families and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
