Jakarta, Oct. 27 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto has called on ASEAN member states to stay united as the world becomes increasingly fragmented and the global order grows unstable.
The President made the statement during the retreat session of the 47th ASEAN Summit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Sunday.
In an official statement received on Monday, Prabowo began his remarks by underscoring that ASEAN's unity and centrality form the main foundation for maintaining regional stability and independence.
"Unity and centrality are not just keywords. Without them, we risk being divided by greater powers," he said.
