Jakarta, Feb. 1 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi) has begun processing the conditional restoration of access to the generative artificial intelligence chatbot Grok, following a commitment from X Corp to improve compliance with domestic regulations.

The move follows the ministry's decision in January to temporarily block Grok over concerns about its misuse to generate non-consensual fake pornographic content on the social media platform X. Both the chatbot and the platform are part of ventures owned by Elon Musk.
