Indonesia again repatriates human trafficking victims from Libya
Jakarta, Aug. 4 -- The Jakarta Metropolitan Police has confirmed the repatriation of three Indonesian victims of human trafficking from Libya, as they named two individuals as suspects in human trafficking syndicates.
"We confirmed the repatriation of three Indonesian victims of human trafficking from Libya, they are NAR, SS, and NKR," Jakarta police's public information unit chief, Adjunct Senior Commissioner Onkoseno Sukahar, referring to the victims with their initials, stated here on Tuesday.
Sukahar said the three victims returned to Indonesia via Soekarno-Hatta International Airport following cross-country and institutional coordination.
