Jakarta, Feb. 19 -- President Prabowo Subianto stated that Indonesia had implemented a budget efficiency policy before similar measures were adopted by the United States through the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

At the Business Summit event held at the US Chamber of Commerce in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday (February 18), the head of state conveyed that this efficiency measure had saved US$18 billion in three months.

According to him, these savings came from cutting unproductive projects, spending inefficiencies, and canceling various ceremonies and non-urgent foreign business trips.
